This Natural coffee is grown by Colombian peasants from the coffee farm “La Loma” in Antioquia, a region known worldwide for its excellence of its coffee plantations, surrounded by The Farallones.
This coffee is produced under the highest quality standards, with more than 50 years of experience and certified by UTZ, Rainforest Alliance, 4C and Fair Trade. It is a unique and eco friendly coffee.
Natural Process: Also known as the unwashed or dry process. In this process, the newly harvested coffee cherries are sorted and sun dried. To ensure even drying, the cherries are spread evenly and raked regularly throughout the day. It could take up to five weeks in the sun before the cherries are free of excess moisture. Very few Water is used during this process.
This Natural coffee has been a finalist in different occasions in the most recognized quality competitions in the world such as: “Cup of excellence” and “Colombia, land of diversity“.
