This coffee is grown by Colombian peasants from the Quindió region. A region known worldwide for the excellence of its coffee plantations. A fertile and healthy land that has been fortified through the years due to the work of experienced farmers and their determination and perseverance to produce the highest standard coffees.
In the “Honey” process; skin and pulp are removed, but some or all of the mucilage (Honey) remains, and allowed to dry at the sun without washing. This process is very eco friendly because one benefit for producers is that honey processing uses less water.
